Hello Bars members,

 During these cold freezing months, nothing like a hot mug of coffee and a good radio book .
Here are two which two BARS members told me about;
"Crosley : Two Brothers and a Business Empire that Transformed  the Nation by Rusty McClure with David Stein & Michael A. Banks. Among the items these brothers built and marketed were Crosley Radio's, Cars, Refrigerates, founding AM station WLW, as well as building the Voice Of America  Bethany Relay Station.  A real page turner. Thank you  to  Andy Wallace (KA1GTT)  for alerting me to this book.
"Radio: My Love, My Passion" by Marlin R. Taylor. The author has a love of radio. The book details more with the programming side of things. A fascinating read with a local connection to WBCN and WJIB.....and WRUL / WNYW shortwave.  I won't give any more away.  I have not finished this yet, but am enjoying every page.Thank you to  Gary Frascarelli (W1GFF) for telling me about this excellent  book. Both are available as e-books if you use a Kindle. While not directly related to Amateur Radio, both books are nice reads.Enjoy and 73,
John F.KC1FTJ
