Many thanks to the following 12 check-ins tonight!

KA1MAP Don Burlington
AC1EV John Tewksbury
K1VK Paul Bedford
KC1KNC Joe Tewksbury
W1LPG Brendan Bedford
W1FDR Bob Chelmsford
K1OA Scott Andover
K1TW Tom Bedford
KC1KVY Bob Billerica
KC1IOK Doug in Lancaster
KC1IUK Chris Tewksbury
KC1GHR Christopher Tewksbury

Of note:

KC1KNC is hoping for recommendations on a QRP rig and right now is looking into the QRP Labs transceiver that is partly SDR. FYI I bought the $50 QCX CW transceiver (and recently ordered the enclosure) but have yet to sit down and build it.

K1OA offered advice that the “Frog Sounds” $14 kit via
https://m.banggood.com/Frog-Sounds-HAM-Radio-QRP-Kit-Telegraph-CW-Transceiver-Receiver-Radio-Station-p-980512.html
Is not bad. I have built and used it and I agree. If I remember right someone does sell an extruded enclosure for it on Ebay.

W1FDR was looking for advice for getting ferrite cores for QRM reduction (W1HIS’s excellent talk) and several of us suggested Fair-Rite
https://www.fair-rite.com/product-category/suppression-components/round-cable-emi-suppression-cores/

After the net KC1IOK reported he was happy to get the engineering kit of miscellaneous cores via Newark Electronics:

Thanks to all for checking in, keeping it lively, and above all, helping each other.

Andy
