[bars] A DX Crystal Set

Mike, K1TWF, and I shared a ride to Fred Hopengarten’s ARRL meeting yesterday and we were discussing crystal sets. A crystal set is generally an AM broadcast band receiver WHICH NEEDS NO POWER SOURCE. That, to me, has always been fascinating. 

Some of you have heard my stories of experimenting with xtal sets last year. I have not made anything as good as Mike Tuggle’s here, but it has been interesting to research and work toward it. Here’s a neat article:
