Just watching this video from Dayton about Mendelsons - 80,000 sq ft of electronics heaven! Is there a joint in the area (MA, NH, RI) where one could rummage around for parts, chassis, used equipment ….. (i try to make it to Deerfield, MIT flea as often as possible )
