Sorry I could not  participate in meeting

My laptop needed an update and apparently this precluded me from hearing
the Zoom meeting.

I have a question for the VEC community.

I want to gently, and I mean gently, encourage my daughter, age 22, to get
a ham license.  She is currently a mechanical engineering student at Univ.
Mass. Lowell.  She is currently residing in San Diego CA for the summer
where her boyfriend has an internship at Northrop-Grumman.

She will be taking on-line course work during summer but I thought she
might be able to squeeze in some ham radio study.  I identified  several
clubs in her area.  Given this COVID-19 crisis, can the VEC community offer
suggestions for getting a ham license that I might gently nudge her to.
