Thanks to all who work on the newsletter!
Kayla and BARS --
Pat and I were planning on heading up to MA in late April/early May but the
current situation has pretty much scuttled that. Perhaps some other time.
I continue to follow All Things BARS from our QTH here in Graham, NC. I
currently have a shack in the cellar (yes! They're rare but exist here!)
and have my roof tower back up (which includes my Cushcraft A50-5 that I
bought 36 years ago at the Framingham fest for $15!) and my re-commissioned
HF2V that I bought from a BARS member whom I can no longer remember but
who lived on Middlesex Turnpike.). I've got a lot of Drake stuff now but
also a K3 with P3 and a 600W amp, when needed. I still have some of my old
test equipment.
If ever any of you are travelling through our area, you're more than
welcome to stop by and/or stay. I have hosted WD1I, N1ICB and N1SPA in the
past. I know we all have phones now but my 2m in the shack is tuned to
146.07/67 (no PL) K4EG repeater.
Take care & 73,
Steve Wedge, W1ES/4
