[bars] New to radio with ??? about antennas, grounding, sdr

Hi,

I am new to radio and presently studying for my Technician license exam. I got a sdr but have questions about rigging an antenna safely in my location that will allow me to tune 40m - 6m, given power-line restrictions. I would like to talk with experienced hams willing to help me with some beginner questions, grounding and safety.
