Sorry, people, I forgot to alert you a couple weeks ago but the second round is this Saturday and Sunday. You don’t need to run a 1929-era tx to work them (you just won’t score…but you will have fun). My dad built two Hartley transmitters so I imagine he actually used them on the air for this. If you are new to CW an advantage here is most guys will be using straight keys and sending slowly too.

Bands: 160, 80, 40 and 20 Meters
Objective: Contact as many 1929 stations as possible.
The build-a-transmitter section is very interesting – includes Youtube video and schematic of a solid state power supply with parts available at Mouser.
