[bars] DMR code plug / Admin for N1IW repeater

Thanks Paul,

I have a decent Diamond RH77CA antenna on the Radio, I can hit the (new) Westford DMR repeater that Terry is configuring. I can hit all the analog repeaters in the area (Westford, Harvard, Paxton, Marlboro, Framingham, Waltham, NAndover) when driving around with a Nagoya mag mount on my car.

I had driven over to the Drum Hill rotary and the Sullys Ice Cream area and was trying the Chelmsford repeater from there.

I have a DMR Id that is registered at Radioid.net, and is working on repeaters on the Brandmeister network, so I have programmed that correctly into my radio

You mention that my ID has to be registered on NEDECN network ? I was not aware of that requirement, and assumed that NEDECN would use my DMR id that is supposed to be universal across different networks. Is that not the case?

I’ll go dig around on the NEDECN web site to see where I am supposed to register (if required). That may be my problem on Chelmsford, Acton (and to try Sudbury)

Here are some things you may want to check.

What is your antenna (rubber ducky)?

Are you operating from inside your house (basement/2nd floor)?

Can you work/hear any repeaters with your radio?

Have you tried to get closer to the repeater by driving to Chelmsford center with your radio?

Do you have the latest version of programming software?

Do you have a personal user ID that is registered on the NEDECN network?

Good luck and keep working on it.

I am having some difficulty programming the codeplug for an Anytone AT-D878UV for the Chelmsford DMR repeater. Who is the admin for the repeater whom I could contact with some questions. I downloaded a code plug from Bridgecomm for Chelmsford, but those setting did’nt work either, so I am doing something that is not working.

If you have a codeplug that works with N1IW, please can I contact you for your settings.

Mine are set as follows (from my radio’s perspective): (these seem to agree with what I see on the Repeater book and NEDECN pages for the repeater)

Rx: 145.18

Tx: 144.58

CC: 2

TS: 1 for Parrot, NH (3133), North East (3172), NAamerica (3), WW English (13), TAC 310,311, UA1, UA2, NETAC1, Skywarn (759)

TS: 2 for several other like Local (9), MA (3125), North (8), New England (3181), NETAC2

I cant get it to even Parrot. Drive over to Chelmsford (Sullys ice cream) and tried it from there too (I believe the repeater is somewhere there?)

Any hints most welcome,
