Does anyone have recommendations for a not-terribly-expensive signal generator?  I'd like to diagnose some issues I'm having with Baofeng and BTech radios (*) which I suspect are related to sensitivity and frequency accuracy.  I've seen everything from BangGood thru Tektronix, but I don't know where the sweet spot is in price/performance.

Up through 440 is fine.  output gain knob would be nice, as I think I need to vary that quickly.  Around the price of a decent radio?

(*) Yeah, I know, but the price is right, and if I can make them work as RF modules, then I can build much more interesting projects.  8*)
