In the same vein as Tony, can highly recommend the TinySA. It can be configured in sig gen mode from the menu. A fantastic piece of kit in its own right at a price/performance point that is sweet. You may need need attenuation if you want direct connection or you can transmit to a short wire depending on the use case.
