I got this great message from Henry Christle WA1VAB about the Icom 7300 firmware update that they published a week or so ago. Some great features added...though I am still waiting for synchronous detection in AM mode (it is on the IC-R8600 $2299 receiver I understand). These three video links do a good job explaining.
