[bars] Good Shuttle Pass - 8:41 PM

No, it was Wednesday evening and a 75 degree pass. And, sorry it was not the Shuttle, but, of course, the ISS Space Station.

Not one of the better passes I’ve seen, but it made up for it when I was following it on its Northern leg through my binoculars and a communications satellite went through the field of view in the opposite direction.

You don’t see that every day.

Sorry, Ken, but that was LAST night (the GMT date-time would have been 0041 on 5/19, probably the cause of the confusion). I watched it. Tonight, we had a similar pass, starting at 2043, but it only got up to 45° altitude.

I use heavensabove.com to keep track of ISS passes.

Me ke aloha
