[bars] BARS Election this week - who are the nominees thus far

Dear BARS Members,

We will elect BARS leaders for the coming year at the Wednesday Nov. 3rd BARS meeting on zoom.  The member meeting will begin as
usual at 7 PM on Wednesday.  The zoom link has been distributed by Bruce W1LUS on the member email list.  

Please join us following the antenna presentation as we elect the BARS leadership for the coming year.  I expect to start the
election process at 8:15 PM.  We can still accept nominations for leadership until the voting begins.  So if you wish to run for any
office such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or Board you have until the Wednesday evening BARS meeting to
announce your interest.  

Here are the current nominees:

For President:  Gary W1GFF

For Vice President:  Mike K1TWF

For Secretary: Marla, WA1GSF

For Treasurer:  Bruce W1LUS

For Board: (2 members to be elected)

- Don, W1DM
- Bill, WZ1L

Additional nominations can be made until the Wednesday meeting.  If you wish to nominate yourself for a position please let me know
at the meeting or email me now at k1tw at comcast.net .  

If we receive additional nominations, we will hold an election for any contested positions (which is healthy for any club to have).
Currently, only the Board is being contested.  

So please consider volunteering for any of the club leadership positions before the meeting.
