Hi Niece,

 

I would like to meet you there but I also have to stop by Deerfield Near-fest for a couple hours Saturday morning or folks will give me a hard time for not stopping by and saying Hi.  So how long do you plan on staying set up ? I am copying Fay on this as she may want to stop by also.  I do have a portable set up now with a 30 AH Lithium Iron phosphate  battery I would like to try (or at least demonstrate from that location) as long as I do not interfere with your operation.  I also have a few ARRL ham radio pamphlets to hand out to passers-by.  I have had my Pfizer booster shot (3rd shot).

anyone   interested in  going up  to  hampton beach   NH - k2656 to do  POTA

there.. it is a  great site   right on the  ocean and  there are  tables  and   a  roof

The  <http://www.k1usn.com/> K1USN Radio Club has announced the 1st Annual Autumn New England Parks On The Air event on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 0000-2359 UTC. Activation will be from as many different POTAs as possible, either as activators or hunters.  The goal is to have one group/individual at each site to enable the activation of as many NE POTAs as possible.

 

BTW, this event is co-incidental with the 2021 Jamboree on the Air, and would give scouts an opportunity to either contact parks or operate from parks.

 

Please distribute this notice and information to as many of your club members as possible, PARTICULARLY THOSE THAT PARTICIPATE IN POTA.  More information can be found by clicking on this link:
