Pardon me if I toot my own horn - in this issue is my “IC-7300 Boot Camp” article and if you have a 7300 (or 7610 or 7600 or 705 etc) please have a look. I dive into menu settings, filter and waterfall options, and give some helpful tips about the rig. I love mine and if you have one you’ll definitely learn something.

Questions welcome!

Hi everyone,

It's that time again. We've got another excellent newsletter. As always, thanks to our wonderful newsletter editor, Marla, WA1GSF, for putting this together every month. Also, big thanks to everyone who contributed. If you have something you'd like to submit for a future newsletter, send it to Marla at wa1gsf at comcast.net. You can find the newsletter at https://bit.ly/BARSApr2022Newsletter

This Wednesday is our monthly membership meeting. The meeting will take place at 7 pm on Zoom. You should be receiving Zoom info from Bruce over the coming days. Our guest speaker this month will be Rob Leiden, K1UI, Assistant NE Division Director. Rob will be talking about noise interference and what we can do about it. This is a topic that has come up at past meetings, so I suspect this is one that will be of great interest to many of our members. More info on Rob's talk at https://www.w1hh.org/april-6-bars-meeting-what-can-we-do-about-noise-interference/.

As a reminder, BARS dues run from January 1 through December 31. Dues are just $15 for the year and help cover club expenses such as the Zoom subscription, web hosting, Field Day, and more. If you have not renewed for the year, you can do so online at https://www.w1hh.org/join-or-renew/. If you're not sure if your dues are current, contact our club Treasurer, Bruce Anderson, at w1lus at hotmail.com.

Hope to see you at the meeting on Wednesday!

73,
Kayla
