[bars] Extra Class license course

Howdy all,

One of the items discussed during the net last night was an Extra class 
license course.  Eric, KC1OAV, suggested to me that NE Sci Tech offers 
an online Extra class.  The class is presented 6-9PM ET on Sundays for 8 
weeks.  They are running a special offer for the class starting Jan 8 - 
it is FREE for NE ham club members! This offer only applies to the class 
starting Jan 8.

I signed up!  There are a few contests in that 8 week period (RTTY 
Roundup, Jan VHF, CQ WW RTTY, etc.) that I am planning to operate those 
weekends --  I  guess I'll just go QRT a bit early. ;-)
