Yesterday we at Nashua Area Radio Society learned that Fletcher Seagroves
N1MEO passed and is now Silent Key.  Lee KC1GKJ was Net Control for our
Sunday Night Weekly VHF Repeater Net and asked for a moment of silence to
recognize Fletcher.  Fletcher was Former County Emergency Coordinator for
Hillsborough County ARES and a past organizer of Hillsborough ARES Net.

 

Fletcher was also a former Nashua Area Radio Club member.  In the March 2002
Nashua Area Radio Club Bulletin Fletcher was listed as the 

Awards/QSL manager

I did not know Fletcher but based on my quick look online I can see that he
made significant contributions to the ham radio hobby in many ways,
including to our club.  He and I were both former club secretaries, which,
even though he is gone, gives us something to bond on beyond our mutual love
of the hobby.  

 

Fletcher was a 20 + years US Army vet. He was Sergeant First Class, and he
has lots of family members in the Milford area. If anyone remembers
Fletcher, there will be a funeral coming up in the next few days in the
Milford NH area.
