Hello BARS members,

Hard to believe it's almost August already. I hope this email finds you all
well. We've got another great newsletter this month. Thank you to everyone
who contributed and, as always, a very special thanks to our wonderful
newsletter editor, Marla, for putting this together every month. If you
have something you'd like to contribute to a future newsletter, be sure to
send it to Marla at wa1gsf at comcast.net. The earlier you can get newsletter

The monthly membership meeting will be taking place this Wednesday at 7 pm
via Zoom. Our guest speaker will be Phil Temples, K9HI. Phil will be giving
a talk titled "HamXposition: It's not your father's Boxboro." HamXposition
is quickly approaching and if you haven't attended before, it's not to be
missed. There's more info on Phil's talk in the newsletter, so be sure to
check it out. Be on the lookout for Zoom info from our club treasurer,
Bruce, over the coming days.

As a reminder, club dues run from January 1 through December 31. Dues are
just $15 for the year and help cover a number of club costs such as the
website, Zoom subscription, and Field Day activities, among other things.
