Please ignore this email, unless you read Gmail using MS Outlook.
Since June 1, Gmail requires improved security to access your Gmail account, since hackers using PC's can spoof your user name and password to access your email.  It took me a few hours to find a solution, so I'm passing along the info to you this morning.

On W10, when using Outlook email app to read internet Gmail and your correct Gmail password is rejected, since June 1, 2022, it is likely caused because beginning May 31, Google no longer accepts Windows username and password as sufficient security.  Hacking activity has prompted Google to confirm the user being given access to Gmail.
This occurs normally with various mobile devices, like iPads, phones etc. and Android devices.
There are several ways to work around this, one I used to take 5 minutes to deploy and is well documented.

This works by two stage security level, the tool generates a specific password for your PC, which you copy and past into the dialog box when it rejects your login.   This is a one-time event if you check "remember password"
