I am trying to operate a 220v lamp on 120v.

I can find a lot of references to calculating the voltage out of a voltage
multiplier.

I can find many diagrams for the different voltage multiplier.

I cannot find any math to calculate the capacitance value to supply a
certain current.

Any help?
