Microcenter has a $99 Black Friday deal on a entry level laptop.  When I 
checked it this morning (~1030A on Friday) there were more than 25 
available at the Cambridge store. I do not have any experience with this 
specific model but based on the stats it should be sufficient for 
logging and very likely digital modes.
