 For those of you looking for those cool heavy-duty military tent poles to put up your antennas, the person who has them in large qtys is Greg and his phone is 508-802-0647. He's down in Carver. Each pole segment is 4 ft, and one end of each inserts into the other end of the next one. He charges $1 per segment and he will give you for free the additional components to make the guy wire ring as well as caps to secure the rights to the top. 
I am still debating if I will use those or a potato gun to hang my antenna across my property and over the house (could use some mentor wisdom to help me out there), but either way I will find a use for them. :)
