Matt we all have stuff left in our vehicles the day after. All I bring in when I get home is the pillow, food and cash. Everything else takes a day or so depending on weather. We got to meet Juan too.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy , an AT&T LTE smartphone

Well spring nearfest is this coming Friday and Saturday
morning. Gates open up at 9 AM. I have 6 AM to 9 AM parking
duty for the prepaid folks driving in. First in are the Thursday
night campers, then the prepaid parking then the folks who
bought tickets that morning. I believe HRO sells tickets
but check with them.
BARS will be in our usual spot at the top of the hill with
two 20 foot shelters for 40 feet of table space. Come on by
and sell stuff or just hang out.
Friday dinner may be a potluck depending on who brings
what but there will be a chili, along with some number of
food vendors. I'll have coffee and water there.
Go to Home - NEAR-Fest.com for schedules and forums.
What to bring? Cash is king but some vendors may take
plastic, etc. Small bills too if you want to bargain for the
small stuff. Nothing like trying to buy a $2 item with a $20
or $50. I've seen it. If it is under a table in a box they
generally don't want to take it home so enjoy haggling.
Bring a chair, clothes appropriate for New England weather
in April. I bring stuff to keep me warm and dry as some of
us are up to midnight.
If you may buy something heavy it is best to pay to drive in
and park. I don't usually bring my two wheel dolly. Nothing
like buying something then having to decide how it's getting
to your car.
Come and enjoy walking around looking at things you've
only seen in magazines and buying stuff you need or don't
really need at that time. Us hams do that a lot. Have fun.
Jim
