I agree,
Both the Deli and ARRL tour is great. I have been there a few times myself, including the 100th year anniversary. I always enjoyed operating the Yaesu FT-5000. I know most likely the radios have been updated now.
Anyone who has not gone to the ARRL tour yet needs to go!!!!!

You all are in for a treat. Reins Deli is delicious! My wife and I stop in there at least once every month or so. Their food is SO good!
The ARRL tour and W1AW tour and operating is great fun too! You'll all enjoy it very much!

Doug,
Gee willikers! I have driven by Rein's Deli without ever stopping driving to ARRL HQ.
I am sharing their Menu. Looks like a Cool place for Lunch.
Reminds me of the late night feeding at Godfreid's Deli on Route 1 when coming home From Sporting event in Boston.
Gonna Save a few $$ so I can get their Reuben Sandwich. ,:)
Can't wait for the trip!

Good Evening All,
I would like to take this time to announce our Club Trip to the ARRL Headquarters and the W1AW Station in Newington CT. The trip date will be Friday March 24, 2023. We will be stopping for lunch at Rein's Deli in Vernon CT on the way down so we will all be full to enjoy our visit!
We will be going by bus and I will be sending the details shortly. This is the Mecca of Ham Radio in the United States, so I encourage everyone to come with us. We will be able to operate the station and check out the ARRL Headquarters on the other side of the parking lot. You will need to bring an Official Copy of your FCC license in order to operate the station.
I will email more details soon, such as cost per person, etc. Please email me back if you would like to join us.
73, Doug N1WRN
