Greetings all,
Here is a link to info. about the 6 & 2M CQ WW VHF contest I mentioned
during the net last night. You can operate any mode, including FM, on
any 6 or 2M frequency allowed by your license (repeater freqs. are
excluded). The exchange is quite simple, just your callsign and
Maidenhead grid (likely FN42 for most of us). This is a great chance to
give 6M a try during the peak of propagation on this band. I'll be on
sporadically on both 2 and 6, mostly FT8 but also SSB.
BTW, 6M is not impacted as much by solar activity making it a great
option when the lower bands are dead and filled with solar noise.
