[bars] HF amp kit recommendation?

Tim,

You can also look into the KP 990 (there is a video of someone using it with the Hermes Lite on youTube)

Also the MX-P50M, I have personally used this with various radios but with a simple buffer circuit on the PTT line and a flyback diode. Search for KBRRLW’s mod that incorporate these with the MX-50M

I used a kxpa100 with a Hermes Lite with a buffer before I sold my Hermes Lite

Thanks Steve, I'll give them a look although I'm betting that the Elecraft is going to be a 'bit spendy'.

Mostly, I'm just looking to bring an SDR (Hermes Lite 2) up to par with my existing transceivers.

(100 W vs. 50W)?

Not sure +13dB vs. +10dB will make much difference from QRP.

I have a need for an HF (80m - 6m) amp., preferably a kit, with somewhere in the neighborhood of 100w out with a 5w drive. Recommendations/suggestions are welcome!

BTW, I have looked at the Hardrock but that is only 50w and I'd like a bit more punch.
