Hello BARS members,

Tomorrow is field day and we will begin set up tonight at 5:00 for anyone who wants to stop by. We'll be putting ropes in the trees to raise the dipole tomorrow as well as assembling the 6 meter beam. We may start work on the tower to get the base in place so we can raise it tomorrow. 

In the morning we'll meet at 9:00 to get the antennas up, run coax, set up the tables, etc. We could still use a few more volunteers to help out so please join us if you can. We want to be ready by 2:00 operating time and there is a lot to do. 

The main goal is to have fun meeting other members of the group and making as many contacts as we can in 24 hours. Dinner will be catered by Mill City BBQ at 6:00 and water & coffee will be available. Please sign in when you get there and also reserve some operating time on the operating schedule. 

We also need volunteers to help bring down the antennas and tower on Sunday at 2:00 if you can make it. After 24 hours of operating, most of us will be tired and can certainly use some help.
