I am pretty sure that my signal didn’t get heard on that antenna as he was activating Stoddard Slough Wildlife Management Area (on the eastern side of Francis Peak which was another good thing for me).

I finally got a QSO from Utah confirmed on LotW.  It was the last state I needed to get “Worked All States” using SSB with my 100W and a dipole.  It took about a week longer than a year after I put my station together to accomplish it!  Lawrence was POTA at Stoddard Slough State Wildlife Management Area (north of Salt Lake City).  12M was dead, so I didn’t have to compete with other closer / more powerful stations.

 

Now I have to work harder to get the 8 DX entities I need to get DXCC with the same constraints!
