[bars] FT8 on VHF?

I am trying an experiment here to see if I can actually do FT8 on 2m, since
the WSJT-X software allows that, but even though I see activity on DXHEAT I
can't see any signals at all.

Do I have to do anything special on the radio or the software to get this
to work?
