call seems to be the issue.  WZ1L  = Whiskey Zulu ONE Lima.
So I follow that immediately with Dubya Zed ONE Elllll. 😁

Normally they screw it up regardless (W1ZL or WL1Z) 🤣

I then report to 1950's. WASHINGTON ZANZIBAR ONE LIBYA!  😉
