You can make an adapter to go from 4-pin to 8 or RJ style. 

Does it use an internal 9V battery? Some CB amplified mics don’t sound the best. ;) 

Well it can keep you occupied anyway. Years ago I found a military M-80/U hand mic and rewired it for an FT-1000. People said it sounded good!

So far I have disassembled it, removed all the old paint, sanded and primed it, and decided to paint it bright red. Looks pretty cool so far. The internals are in good shape, just needed some cleaning. Same with the coiled cable.

I know this was used a lot as a CB mike, but does it work with HAM radios? It has a 4-pin connector, and I can't test it as all my rigs have different mike plugs.
