You may have heard that I am organizing a group purchase of VARA licenses
for interested amateurs. VARA is a "software modem", much like other
digital modes (i.e. FT8, MFSK, Contestia, Olivia) but the free version is
limited in speed, bandwidth, and compression, think "slower". A VARA
license will unlock all features and works for both VARA HF and VARA FM
versions. It is typically $69 but if we can get 10 or more people to sign
up and pay the price is reduced to $55.
