Hi all,

At the meeting, I spoke with Mark about the VARA license group purchase I'm
organizing and he said he was interested but he hasn't signed up yet using
the link from my previous email. I looked at the email membership list
but couldn't tell which email was potentially his as none appear to have
his name or his callsign in the address. I also checked the usual places
like QRZ.com.

Anyway, I've received a great response to the group buy so I'll probably
close the signups soon and I don't want to leave Mark (or anyone else) out
who may be interested. If someone has his contact info could they share it
with me? I want to make sure he has an opportunity to be included. Or if
you speak with him you can just let him know about this message. For anyone
else who may have thought about getting in on the group buy but didn't sign
up, I'll include the link again below. You may want to get your name on the
list sooner rather than later as well.

Thanks to the folks who already signed up as well! I actually got my 71ft
end fed set up on Friday to try to QSO with Niece, KA1ULN, when she did her
YL POTA activation. I wasn't successful there but I did successfully use
VARA to connect to our ARRL Eastern Mass Section Traffic Manage's (KW1U)
Digital Traffic Station for the first time which operates on 40 and
80-meter bands! I didn't have traffic to exchange as it was just a test,
but with my VARA license I'll be able to quickly upload and download NTS
traffic using this connection in the future.
