[bars] ARRL 10m contest - Technician Friendly!

Hiya Folks,

The ARRL 10 Meter contest is coming up on Dec 14 & 15 UTC (starts Friday 
night local time). This is a great contest for beginners as it is on a 
single band, offers separate CW & SSB categories (or both!) as well as a 
'limited antennas' category for folks with wire antennas.  It is 
particularly well suited for Tech. class license holders as it is 
limited to 10 meters where you have CW & phone privileges.

We are at the peak of a sunspot cycle and 10m has been jumping!  This 
will be a great opportunity to dip your toe into contesting, increase 
your DXCC/WAS/WAZ count or simply test your stations capabilities on 10M.

This will be my first entry into this contest and I'm really looking 
forward to it!  I'm happy to take any questions (on or off list) folks 
may have -- I'll do my best to answer.

your own!
