I have decided I have no use for the Kenwood TS-811A
<https://www.rigpix.com/kenwood/ts811a.htm> UHF transceiver I bought a
couple of weeks ago. Both my FT-991a and FT-857d can do what this does.

I checked it out, it outputs full power, is clean inside, has a fully
charged coin backup battery, the original microphone and the user and
service manual spiral bound into one volume. It looks like it's been well
taken care of, just the normal nicks and scratches over time.

It also has the Piexx TU-5PX CTCSS/PL encoder board
<https://www.piexx.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=14>,
which enables tone frequency selection from the front panel. It is third
party but an exact clone of Kenwood's TU-5, and that option is a $69 value.

The other options are useless, there is a CD-10 uni
<https://www.rigpix.com/accessories/kenwood_cd10.htm>t that shows call
signs if you are using DCS, and a VS-1 voice synthesizer board
<https://www.rigpix.com/accessories/kenwood_vs1.htm> that talks frequencies
and such in English and Japanese. This rig doesn't have those.

I will sell it to a BARS or MMRA member for $250. If you are reasonably
near Burlington I might even be talked into delivering it to you in
exchange for something cool and sugar-free to drink. If it doesn't sell in
a week or two, it goes to fleaBay.
