[bars] Echolink returns to 146.955 WB1GOF repeater

After a considerable absence. Echolink Node 380799 is back up and running on the 146.955 WB1GOF repeater. Some testing was done this morning thanks to WI1R and KB1GMX for their assistance. The best way for additional testing is to let the “users” tell me what’s broke (and they usually do! LOL). The audio quality is DIFFERENT yes!

So give it a whirl if you are so inclined. Because Echolink is an internet-based product, there is a little delay. PLEASE wait for the 146.955 repeater carrier to drop! If you don’t, and quick key, the Echolink user won’t hear you.

As a by-product of this iteration of Echolink, the repeater also is now an AllStar node, 29769. Its “status” can be found at https://stats.allstarlink.org/stats/29769. More on what AllStar is in upcoming messaging.
