Hello all,
In September, I wrote an article in our newsletter regarding the Amateur
Radio Emergency Preparedness Act and how you could show your support with
just a couple of clicks. In this month's ARRL Letter I noticed that they
have added an option for GMRS license holders to show their support using
the same processes as well. I also hold a GMRS license (WRYP866) and so I
send additional letters to my senators and congresswoman. I doubt they will
remember my amateur radio letter, but I figure the more letters they get
the better. I wanted to share this in case you missed it and would like to
do the same.
Below is the excerpt from The ARRL Letter with the links to for both
amateur radio operators and GMRS operators.

*ARRL is calling on all radio amateurs and GRMS licensees to join our
nationwide grassroots campaign to pass the Amateur Radio Emergency
Preparedness Act*. ARRL has made it very easy to send your letters to
Congress. Hams should go to *https://send-a-letter.org/HOA
<https://arrl.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT0zNDgyMjQwJnA9MSZ1PTU0ODE3OTY1NCZsaT00MDQ0NjY2Mw/index.html>*
and
GMRS users should go to *https://send-a-letter.org/GMRS
<https://arrl.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT0zNDgyMjQwJnA9MSZ1PTU0ODE3OTY1NCZsaT00MDQ0NjY2NQ/index.html>*.
The letters will automatically be sent to your elected officials
encouraging them to support the bipartisan bills. Passage would give
amateur radio operators the same rights to install antennas on their
property as those enjoyed by users of TV antennas, wireless internet, and
flagpoles.
