Ok, so now I know a little more about POTA, but my friend in Argentina just
told me the Olavarría Ham Club is participating in JOTA-JOTI this weekend!

That's *Jamboree on the Air* and *Jamboree on the Internet*, a Scouting
activity, as in www.scouting.org!

How come the club is not participating in this? Sure, POTA, SOTA all of
that is ok for the old timers, but could it be that us not participating in
a worldwide activity like JOTA/JOTI at least partially explain why we have
less than zero youngsters joining the hobby?

It might be too late to join this weekend, but I think we should definitely
plan to do this next year.
