if they were lurking around HRO they would have some idea of what the products are worth. It would not surprise me if they were in the store at some point.   HRO sells CB gear too.   There are many possible motives and plans for the thief.

Did the report make any mention of what was stolen?  Folks could watch the local ForSale boards/eBay/QRZ for 'NIB' items.
