<span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">As some of you probably know, the B.A.R.S Club is running a Special Event Station on September 17, 18, and 19 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the first transmission of WBZ Radio AM1030. </span>

<span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">At this time, I would like to put out a request for operators for this Special Event Station. Being an operator is easy and fun. Our co host, Larry, W1AST, President of the Hampden County Radio Association, even has a handy operators guide that he will share with anyone who would like to give this a try. There will be an online spreadsheet to sign up for any block of time and any mode that catches your fancy during the the three days. </span>
