Audio is sent and received via the data port, seems to be working as it should. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">A look over the block diagram and I checked for bad solder joints. Besides a resistor and a capacitor, there isnt a lot between the jack and the dac. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Even tried a full factory reset to clear out any weird settings and then adjust for digital.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div>

Well, I cut a bread tie and stripped a bit off the ends, a pair of alligator clips attached to some ear buds, other ends holding the two mini probes, with a couple pliers to hold the cable down, a bright light and some magnifiers I probed gnd and data in to
find the audio tone (quite loud) while wsjtx was running the 'test' tone. <br clear="none">

I've tried digi as well as usb, I can decode the ft8 data and the applicaton is good at reading and setting the rig controls.

The rigblaster plug-and-play module has a 3.5mm 4 contact TRRS connector and a break out cable to audio in/out, I have one laptop with in/out ports and the rest use the TRRS for headset/mic combos similar to a cell phone. Rigblasters support could not tell
me if a double ended TRRS cable would allow me to attach to the newer laptops. <br clear="none">

solder joints on the board and everything looks decent and not showing any open or high resistance. I'm a little new and confused I'll admit, my system is running linux (knoppix) and everything else is working, decodes, rig control etc. I'd almost wonder
if anyone had any suggestions! </span></p>
