<div>CW is an abbreviation for Continuous Wave.
<div>Morse code is sent by turning on and off a transmitter.
When the transmitter is on, the signal is on steady,
“continuously”. So when we talk about having a Morse code
contact, we use shorthand notation and refer to it as a CW
contact. When you get to the point where you are logging
contacts, a contact using Morse code is logged as “CW” mode.<br>

<div>Hi Joanne,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Lately I've found a tool from AA9PW
useful for practice.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The whole aa9pw.org site is
interesting.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>But the tool I'm talking about is
the "morse code generator"</div>
<div> </div>
<div><a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.aa9pw.com/morsecode/test/">https://www.aa9pw.com/morsecode/test/</a></div>
<div> </div>
<div>As you can see it will generate a
number of things for you to copy.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Works well on my Android phone
using Firefox too, not just</div>
<div>the computer.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>See if it's what you're looking
for.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>
<div>I'm currently studying cw too.</div>
