My need is to mount a 4el 6m, 14el 2m and 32el 432 yagis and maybe
a 2m/70cm vertical on top. I haven't calculate the wind load,
mostly because the data is not easily available; the 6m is DIY,
the 14el is scavenged from a scrap pile, and the 432 yagi was a
hamfest buy. This thing would be mounted adjacent to a large
skylight so I'd prefer to over-engineer it to ensure it doesn't
come crashing into the room below some stormy night.

I'd like to move my VHF antennas off my
deck and since a 'real tower' is off the table I'm going with
a roof mounted system. What I have in mind is too much for a
simple tripod style mount so the next step up is a 'roof
tower'. I've seen several glowing reviews for a design from
Glen Martin but I'm not able to find those available online
anywhere. I did find a similar design by W8IO but he also is
no longer offering it for sale. He does, however, provide a
detailed construction guide!

I am certainly capable of assembling the thing but I lack the
tools to fabricate the parts. Does anyone know of a local
metal shop that would be willing to take on such a small
project?
