He will need the P25 programming. Billerica went digital a few months ago. So did Tewksbury. Andover and Wilmington are still analog at the moment. See RR site for others.

Hi Jason,
</div>
<div>
IMHO Best to use software. Proscan and Freescan are 2 that I am familiar with. Freescan is free but has limitations like it can’t handle a few protocols. Proscan can suck down data from radio reference and programs your scanner. I use Proscan with a much simpler scanner, the BC 780 XLT, which is analog only. I do pick up quite a bit, but I use it more to monitor repeaters, gmrs activity, fm simplex, ATC but I do have quite a few pd/fd/amb etc in there

Happy to share my db/code plug if you like

Hello,
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
I recently got a Uniden Bearcat BCD996P2. Programming is quite difficult for me and I am unsure of how to put in the channel info. To start I just want to hear Billerica Police, and eventually maybe surrounding towns.

<div>
</div>
<div>
Has anyone else run into the difficulty? Is there a code plug I could use? Anything helps.
