Lots of them on Amazon or elsewhere. Be sure to use the correct voltage selection on the adapter (3.3v or 5v, they all have a jumper to select the V) otherwise you will let out the magic smoke! It's USB-A on one end, but it has an RS-232 converted in the middle and hence the non-standard connector on the radio end. It works well on AA batteries, and I found out I can update it even though the RS software as a doorknob is useless due to long-dead servers. The database can be updated using Whistler scanner software which uses the same database format. I've been listening to all kinds of funky stuff on this little scanner.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>I have, however, run into a wall trying to find the USB cable that also serves as a charging cable if you use NiMH batteries. The docs say it is Mini USB, but no, it is not. It's some weird mutation between Mini and Micro USB.<br><br>Does anyone where I could find one of these cables? I tried the RS web site, eBay, Amazon and Google Shopping.
