<p><font face="Verdana" size="4">I had prepared for the NC duties
this week by testing my station earlier in the day and leaving
the radio on, listening occasionally. I had a few moments of
panic when a few minutes before 8 I hit the PTT button and the
radio immediately shutdown. A power cycle of the radio and then
the power supply did not resolve it - a single click on PTT
would instantly shutdown the radio. In a desperate attempt I
dialed back the power to approx. 1/2 the original setting and it
was stable. WHEW! Some followup investigation is required.<br>

Apparently I was 12 seconds early starting the net this week. I
will endeavor to improve that with my next rotation.<br>
