Sorry for the panic email a while ago! We all can still enjoy the social aspect of the evening, but it is my honor and privilege to announce that Peter Portanova, W2JV, and a Founding Father of Ham Radio University, will be presenting a talk to the Club tonight on Satellites and Amateur Radio, with an emphasis on POTA! <strong>In 1995 I moved from a codo in Bayside Queens to a home on the water in Massapequa, LI. I joined the GSBARC and was welcomed by KA2D and N2MUN. N2MUN was the instructor and with his help and encouragement I upgraded my license. N2MUN passed in March 2020, he will always be my mentor and friend.<br><br>I operate all modes/bands, my favorite modes are all of them. I enjoy visiting other countries, virtually, and having a reasonable QSO. </strong>
