I also have one here in the shack. I have used it to test bandpass filters,
to make coaxial phasing lines, and for rough checks of antenna resonance.

I have never used the small screen. Instead, I use software on a Windows
machine connected to the instrument via USB. That includes measurements
made both on the bench and in the field.

Absolutely worth the money invested, in my opinion.
