Congrats on the take-down, Andy. It was the right thing to do and Dad would
approve. He'll also approve of your next step - some kind of safe,
serviceable and effective installation that will bring you many hours of
enjoyment.

It's never wrong to install 3 or 4 sections of Rohn 25g with a solid base
and a properly designed and installed house bracket.
